Fernie Mountain and Village
Fernie is a mountain community located in the southeast corner of British Columbia, Canada It was founded in 1898 and was incorporated as the City of Fernie in 1904. Fernie Alpine Resort
Fernie Alpine Resort is known for its high annual snowfall, reportedly the highest of any resort in the Canadian Rockies, and for its powder skiing. In the summer it operates as a mountain bike park with lift access.
There are 10 lifts which offer 112 different trails with a vertical drop of 857 m (2811 ft). The resort has 10.1 km (2504 acres) of skiable terrain.
With an average snowfall of 875 cm (29 ft) and over 2500 acres of skiable terrain, it's no wonder it's one of the most exciting resorts in BC.
